Raw Data

Kubb'Ings wins the best of five championship series three games to one. This match highlights some of the rules differences between the Kubb Open and U.S. Nationals:

  1. Championship match is best of five games
  2. Center pins are removed several times - often the attacker doesn't even need to ask.
  3. Penalty Kubbs aren't placed by the defenders, they are thrown into play from the attacker's baseline
  4. Foot-fault rules seem to be quite lax, as several times attackers have one of both feet outside the sidelines, and momentum can carry the thrower forward past the throwing line provided the throw is released behind it.

A very interesting and compelling match - well worth the hour and twelve minutes to watch!
