The sidelines delimit the field of play on the right and left. The Kubb s must be thrown between the sidelines but behind the center line and in front of the opposing Grundlinie. The player must stand between the imaginary extension of the sideline when throwing. There are Regelwerke, that allow crossing the sideline with one leg.
